what has this world come to
its riddicious, nothing is real or genuine. i am speaking of everything in general, its just so pointless.

its like i can see my future panning out and it looks like a dark cloud storming my way. I am the youth of the world and right now the world looks like a scary place. people have lost all morals and what has become acceptable is completely ludacris. this world is so f*cked up.

i really just dont see the point of anything any more.

any one ever feel like this?
and please dont call me emo

im 16 incase any one was wondering, and im not very religious, infact i dont even have a defined religion.

You tried so hard and got so far!

And in the end, it doesn't really matter!

We're in the same exact situation the teens of the 60s, 70s, and 80s were in.

We're no different. And we'll pull through. Just like they did.

"As the_man101 took a bite of Bavarian sugar cookie, he finally felt as if everything was going to be ok. Sometimes, when we lose ourselves in fear and despair, in routine and constancy, in hopelessness and tragedy, we can thank God for Bavarian sugar cookies. And, fortunately, when there aren't any cookies, we can still find reassurance in a familiar hand on our skin, or a kind and loving gesture, or subtle encouragement, or a loving embrace, or an offer of comfort, not to mention hospital gurneys and nose plugs, an uneaten Danish, soft-spoken secrets, and Fender Stratocasters, and maybe the occasional piece of fiction. And we must remember that all these things, the nuances, the anomalies, the subtleties, which we assume only accessorize our days, are effective for a much larger and nobler cause. They are here to save our lives. I know the idea seems strange, but I also know that it just so happens to be true. And, so it was, a wristwatch saved the_man101."

Might as well hide from it in your mothers basement until the threat passes...
But really, deal with it.

I made a thread somewhat similar to this a few weeks ago, so yeah I agree. But to a certain degree, though the world seems messed up on the news and stuff sometimes, there are still good things going on and more and more people who are trying to fix it. SO yeah just sit back play guitar and watch some South Park. Don't worry about it...

i pretty much agree, i mean we all know that soon enough we will all have nothing too lose. But that just means that we might as well stick around and see how much fun we can have not caring about losing anything. that doesnt make sense. My foot hurts.

It's always been dark and scary. What makes you think things have changed so much? The planet is run by the same species. Humans haven't changed any. Maybe society has been rearranged a little........everything still works the same way.

The best thing you can do is just try to focus on what you're good at and succeed. I don't watch the news anymore or listen to other people's opinions.....since everybody thinks they're right anyways otherwise they wouldn't have an opinion....yada yada
#26
Does anybody else think that we as humans, tend to sometimes believe our thoughts are generally deeper than most people? I have found myself thinking this a few times.

You sound angsty. Go find a purpose if you're so worried about it. Help the poor, build something, invent something, travel the world, whatever.
