I searched far and wide for any live version of Bold as Love and this is the only one I could find. IMO it's a poor version and it has really bad sound quality.

Are there any others? And the mythical 7 minute instrumental version was not live, it's a studio recording in which Jimi is fiddling around with ideas. It's still epic though.

Hendrix really didn't play any songs of Axis that much. He played Spanish Castle Magic and Little Wing but besides that he really didn't because at the time it was to hard to get his FX live./

I wanna say he did it at Woodstock.. the full woodstock set from the Jimi DVD not the Woodstock movie dvd.. but i haven't seen it in awhile i could be wrong.

Sorry to bump this, but that's my vid so i thought I should comment...

Hendrix only played this live once, maybe twice from what I have read. He didn't really play much Axis stuff live unfortunately.
