these days anything can be used as a guitar case.. you just gotta be creative about it

instead of buying a coffin case.. dig up a coffin and throw out the body

costproof and whats more metal than digging up a coffin?

i think it might be a bit more expensive to build a wood case over getting a wood case (not a flight case). and it would be alot of difficult work i think. but ppl have built cases. try to find some tutorials or a thread about it on the site.

It shouldn't be to hard, build a case out of plywood, put tolex over it, cut the insides out of a dense foam so that it's molded to your guitar's shape and put some fabric over it.
