I play metal, and I'm looking for something that's decently easy to bend but can take constant metal playing. That's if strings vary in bending difficutly, sound and such. I'm not familar with different kinds of gear, I'm working more on actually playing at the moment. I know, noob question but if I don't ask how will I know

Get a set thin set with a heavy bottom, like the ones Ernie Ball make.

These sets have light top strings, which are ideal for easy bending and such. On the other hand hand, the bass strings are heavier than those of a regular set of 9's, so you can tune down without them flopping all over the place and they can take a beating.

Sounds great! Is there a name for the Ernie Ball strings you described? Most of them have numbers and I'm not familar with them.
