Whenever I use headphones on my computer's speakers one doesn't work but when i take the headphones off, both speakers work. I know it's not the headphones because I'm using them right now with my ipod and they work perfectly. Can I have some help here?

Why do you listen to headphones and speakers at the same time?

If you move the headphone jack around a bit, does it stop, then work again?

And also, stupid as it may sound, it's all plugged in fully?

the left headphone just doesn't work no matter how i move it, yes it is plugged in fully and i don't listen to my headphones and speakers at the same time

Hold on, I'm a bit confused.

You plug your headphones into the speakers on the computer, and only one of the headphones work?

Is that what your saying?

Right, because I think I misunderstood you at first!

Do both the speakers work without the headphones plugged in?

plug the headphones into a cassette player\ipod and see if they work yet?

Yeah, he has.

Then I'm guessing the problem is with the headphone jack on the speakers.
