hmm, i pose the question, what age does it become unacceptable to watch kids tv at. im currently 17, and when i get up in the morning, i like to have a bit of spongebob or fairly odd parents on while eating my cereal. and if theres nothing good on i'll flip over and if theres nothing on nick i'll catch some recces. personally i dont think theres anything much wrong with that. spongebob is brilliant at times.
any thoughts ?

I don't think it's wrong to watch cartoons at such an age. I watch cartoons from time to time if I'm bored still.

spongebob is cool i guess. as long as you dont base your life on fairly odd parents... its cool to watch with breakfast in the morning or whatever.

Some cartoons are awesome, I still watch Recess. I also love kid's shows like Lazytown. I watch that non stop. You can watch them at any age.

Recess is still on? I loved that one .

I just don't watch much TV any more. Maybe if there's a new season of House on, or a really good documentary.

Recess is timeless. I've watched LazyTown with my girlfriend before, I think she's "impressed" by Sportacus and his muscles. Ah well, I get Stephanie

Nothing wrong with that.

And if anyone makes a comment, you can always suck "**** you". You can come up with a ton of excuses. Say that it develops your imagination. Tell anyone who complains taht they are merely a slave to society, cos they think it's wrong to watch cartoons, when it actually isn't. They choose not to to avoid other people saying bad things about them.

And say that being immature kicks ass

I'm 19 and still watch the occasional cartoon. Actually, I now appreciate shows like Animaniacs even more than when I was 9.

Mmm Sportacus. I must admit that's a large proportion of my incentive for watching it

I still love watching the cartoons that I grew up with. Transformers, Thundercats, X-Men, Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, Gargoyles, The Tick. Awesome shows. The Fairly Odd Parents is funny too. I love the Arnie fairy and that Spanish one whose shirt always rips off when he sees Wanda

Oh and Justice League Unlimited is pretty badass

I watched some Courage the Cowardly Dog this afternoon
.

Dude, no way. I had just finished reading the Wiki article after randomly thinking about it, come in this thread and see that.

CTCD always sort of scared me. I can't remember much, only snippits like UFOs and the fact the male owner didn't like him, and he would lock Courage outside and he'd see some creepy shit going on.

There's a marathon on Cartoon Network. Or there was. . .I'm not sure if it's still going. They also show it at 10 PM weeknights.

There are no good children cartoons anymore, they ended in the 90s along with alot of other good things. i stopped watching cartoons when they stopped showing the good ones, and i was about 10 or 11 years old. But there are always cartoons such as south park, family guy, and alot of great stuff on adult swim

I always liked it better than other cartoons at the time, like Johnny Bravo and Cow & Chicken.
