hi to everybody, I need a compressor to play red hot chili peppers and modern rock...
so I have considered a marshall ed-1, a digitech main squeeze and a boss cs-3... In your opinion which is the best for me?? thx in advice

well, in my opinion in californication there's a lot of compression...

I think you'll find that what you need more than anything is a decent amp.

I practice with a JCM 900... I don't think that's the point...

I have the cs-3 and it does the job. kinda noisy though because of the sustainer.

I heard the dyna comp is good.

BTW, how's your digidelay? I almost considered buying it because of the trailing feature but I heard it does not sound good. Bought the dd-3 instead. I'm asking soundwise.

He's just stating the fact that a better amp would sound better than a compressor through a shitty amp, you never mentioned that you play through a JCM900

i like my dynacomp, thing works very well and i dont find it adds noise like the cs-3. the supercomp is supposed to be an upgraded version of the dynacomp, so that may be worth a look as well, but ive never tried it.
