Ok, so I've got a ****ty Boss Ds-1.

What can I mod with it? Is it possible to put in an EQ so I can actually get some low tone instead of just ****ty thin sound?

I tried lurking to find some good mods, but to no avail.

So any help is appreciated.

use as paperweight until eBay auction goes through, buy gear that doesnt just suck from the getgo as necessary.

(i hate my ds1 if you couldnt tell)

theres also a Lot of links floating around for diy mods that are better than a keeley.

You could have just used google, but here's the link. Unless you understand that, don't even thinking of taking your pedal apart.

theyre good in moderation

moderation being with a good tube amp at at nearly zero gain.

i find it really edgy, which is helpful in cases.
i have a 'white guitar'

I think we can all really agree that nothing is more metal than playing a Telecaster....On fire.

The rest of the album is brilliant but that one song just really gets right on my tits for some reason

the keeley mod DS1 is actually monsterous enough to just run on a clean solid state amp at low volume too.

well im looking for a good heavy metal mod, and mayb the keeley is good.

but everysingle version of the keeley ive heard has not been that good of a mod, more like an overdrive instead of distortion.
