check this out. i built it out of old computer speakers. wired the way i have it, it's 20 watts at 16 ohm's. it doesn't sound as bad as i thought it would. what's cool is that i can get really fuzzed out sounds cause the speakers are so small. it's great.

You have way too much time on your hands my friend lol. Make a simple box out of MDF for it. It would be cheap!

Damn. You're actually getting a pretty nice tone out of it, considering what it is.

A VJ head would probably smoosh the box flat. And it might not stand up heavy gigging.

[quote="'[P|E|R|S|O|N"]']I lol'd @ that pic...

But I like the idea. Something cheap and cool to mess around with. Nice.

do you just have the speakers wired to the jack? how does it get power to the speakers? i kinda want to build one now i seriously got like 15 sets of speakers like that.
#35
You americans get boxes for free from that place right? (Damn I wish I coudl order 200 boxes)
You could build many ranges of box-like things, box-cased amps, effects, racks. . guitars?
#36
there'd be like... stompboxes too, yeah??

nah seriously, I really like that amp. I'm gonna put it on my to do list for when i get older.

Well done.
#38
Very nice, plus on the upside you can get creative and decorate it however you like and if you screw up just find a new box... I looked at the pic and it seems like you could go to the post office and get the flat rate box and have a cab about the size of a 2 to 3 inch three ring binder.
#39
this one time i made a pair of pliers out of a banana, but that is neither here nor there. are they seriously only 2.3" speakers?

He should put the VJ head in box also. Talk about a custom amp...
