I've not played the Blackouts yet, but I've heard good things and people stating they're better than EMGs.

I have, however, played the Duncan Livewires and I liked them better than EMGs, even in the P.O.S. guitar it was in.

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

ya i know what you mean but ive also heard that emgs have a tad better tone for lows than the seymours and the seymours have better tweakable mids and better highs but still exceptionally good lows

I haven't tried the Duncans so I can't comment, but I think EMGs are good IF you use them correctly.

Try the 85 in the bridge. Also try rolling your tone control back some.

It seems that his user title is what he seen a few members post, therefore it must be true, and overuling all of his own opinion.

I haven't tried the blackouts yet...really want to though.

No, its just ironic for someone who had EMG=Overated or something like that to be asking how good EMG's sound :|
