I was thinking of playing a piece for a special occasion.....

I know A Day in November, any other in that vein that come mind?

Suggestions will be appreciated.
Dee by Randy Rhoads. I love this song. It sounds beautiful and whenever I play it even people who play guitar say it sounds very impressive. I also enjoy Bouree in E minor by Bach. That song is very nice as well. Blackbird by The Beatles sounds classical and it's fairly simple yet very beautiful. Good luck! Tell us how it goes!
Chi Mai - Ennio Morricone
Für Elise - Ludwig van Beethoven
Besides being a guitar player, I'm a big fan of the guitar. I love that damn instrument. Steve Vai

Kramer Striker FR422SM
Roland Microcube
Digitech Bad Monkey
Dunlop Tortex 1.14mm picks

I dunno, Blackbird is defenately a beautiful song but it might be a little too 'Folky' for the occasion.

Depending on your skill check out Angelina by Tommy Emmanuel. It isn't classical, but it's a solo guitar piece and she's pretty much gaurenteed to melt if you play it right
