where can i try out examples of different neck shapes to see which ones are the most comfortable?

example...if i wanted to try out a U shape neck, what guitar could i try it out on?

i know this one store that had this rack at the door, which had every single neck shape of a strat. included thin/med/thick, or soft/hard of every shape: U, C, V, and D!!!


but U shapes i think comes on '50s telecasters.

The MIM 70's RI Stratocaster has a U-shaped neck. The Jimmie Vaughan Strat, and I believe the MIM 50's RI Strat have a soft V-shaped neck, if you're interested in those.

What neck would a 68' Japanese Reissue have? And what necks are generally suited to smaller hands and chord work?

^dunno bout a '68, but i have small hands, and i love the feel of soft-V necks. seriously love it. im getting a replacement soft-V neck.
