It's a decent starter *shrug*.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

I know your pain man, my friend is the same, had a crappy behringer, bought a 100w behringer
i did manage to talk him out of the behringer halfstack

let him figure it out himself. its easier than to argue with him.

You could get $1000 custom made pickups hand wired with Eric Johnsons pubic hair, and they'd still sound pretty bad through a ****ty solid state practice amp.

I like the way it looks, but no idea about the rest. considering the price it'd be not all that.

I bought the next DEAN up from that the ML X and I have to say it's not as bad as I was told. I had the pups changed to a set of the high end DEAN Zebra and now it sounds like a totally different guitar. They are very light. They claim it's Mahogany but that is just the stain the wood is called Paulownia. I have read up on the stuff and it's a good wood for a lot of stuff but not sure about it for solidbody guitars. Not a bad starter guitar for someone I guess.
