so heres my plan. my guitar has a floyd rose and i need to take off all the strings so i can clean the fret board but if i take off all the strings the bridge will be thrown off and it will be a pain in the ass to fix. so im going to put an eraser in the back to hold the back from falling that way i can take off all the strings and not have the bridge be thrown off. once i clean the board i will put all the new strings back on then i will tune the guitar. then i will remove the eraser and the bridge should stay in the same position. will it work? do i need to but a block on the bridge too or will the one in the back be enough?

it will work, because the strings tension isn't there so its causing the bridge to go off and whatnot, an eraser should fix it
