Hey guys, just wondering if anyone had some sweet tones for a sound like the album "The Crusade" by Trivium.

I'm using a Alexi-200 ESP and a 75Watt G2 Randall amp.

all the average dials, Gain, Medium, Contour, Bass etc.

Yeah saw that. I fiddle myself and I got a pretty versatile setting for a lot of their songs.

But what I posted for was to show a VERY good "Something" setting.

I have:

Treble:6
Middle:7
Bass:3

Neck pickup and a VERY SLIGHT OD. I used my Screamin' Blues, and used the volume knob to adjust it from their (on guitar). Like, your not even supposed to hear any fuzziness about it, it's mainly for the boost. It accentuates the neck pick up and really brings out the tone IMO.

I haven't read this thread all the way through, so someone else may have pointed it out, but...

Shot, you have a New York Dolls setting? Preferably, Johnny Thunders on Personality Crisis.

Please and thank you!

I need some settings again. Does anyone know the delay settings for 1. Guns N' Roses "Welcome to the Jungle" introduction and 2. The Fall Of Troy's "F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X." introduction/bridge? These settings are for a AD15VT, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
#140
to me, the Welcome to the Jungle sounds like a looper rather than a delay... but for a delay, its like 500ms?

Yeah. Isn't that a delay? I he doesn't have a looper (so when he plays live, that must be delay) and he has a Boss DD-something or other.
Ben
#144
no, if it was a delay, it should go down with his playing, but a little delayed.

so the delay should be going down... Bb, Ab, F, Eb, Db, Bb...

but it's going... Bb>>>>>>>>>>>>>

^u killed the discussion. shame on you.

does he even get that loop/delay thing live? cuz it sounds like he just does it without it. just a clean (not necessarily) slash tone from his rig without any delay/modulation stuff...

I don't know, I thought he did. I didn't see he had a looper in his gear pages, so I just assumed it was a delay. Maybe they did it with the studio or something.

well, we can't have a winner unless slash has an account here and tells us what he used.

or he might just say "a gray boss pedalboard thing" again...

Well, sorry then.

I guess I'll just go and mess with the delay settings on my amp.

EDIT: I don't know you guys, but I get something pretty similar to WTTJ's intro using the delay effect.

^There's a PG setting on the first page, and I see no reason to have different settings for different songs/albums/eras, as they're just rough guidelines anyway.

PinkEdit: Dang, this is to Kyrreca, on the last page.

Ok, I thought this thread was meant for those kind of questions. The Racer X settings on the first page aren't too close to what I'm after. I was just looking for a short cut, like everyone else.
