I`m looking for a guitar book i used to own about 15 yrs ago.

It was unlike a regular `learn guitar` book.

It was written in a very personal way by the author & had lots and lots of his own
hand drawn diagrams and doodles. He talked brilliantly about music theory in a very down to earth manner (i.e. without the jargon) mentioned how he went to a Malmsteem concert and watched with binoculous to observe the technique used.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A BOOK YOU OWN????

If so, PLEASE tell me the name & author, i`ve been searching for this book all over ebay with no success. I originally bought it in Sydney Australia 1991 but it was most probably written by an American or maybe a British dude.

Thanks lads!
