So I have a minimalist riff for a violin that goes like this:

E|--0--0--2--3--2----0
B|----0--------------3--
G|-----------------------
D|-----------------------
A|-----------------------
E|-----------------------

Which then, after a while, using metamorphosis goes to:
E|--0--0--2--3--2----0
B|----1--------------3--
G|-----------------------
D|-----------------------
A|-----------------------
E|-----------------------

before going back. Now this to me sounds good, but not sure how to build anything around it =/ help?

Both those riffs are built around Em so you can do a chord progression using Em as the minor 1 and tonic. If you know theory you'll know waht I mean if not I can explain it a little better.
MY Setup
carvin v3 full stack 100 watt all tube power
a 1981 carvin (m-22 pickup) great tone
Rack Setup
carvin compressor
carvin fx 2
BBE Sonic Maximizer
Rocktron Noise Gate
furman power conditioner

You might wanna try slowly adding parts on that harmonise with that cell. Fading in of dissonant parts which gradually come into harmony = teh sex.

Or B phrygian.

This is a cool similar pattern I came up with that works with this.

E|--7----7-8-10-8--------7---
B|-----7--------------10--------
G|------------------------------
D|------------------------------
A|------------------------------
E|-------------------------------

lol you bastard!!! i wrote that song years ago.... not really, but something alot like it (prolly alot of people have really) E minor works well over that and depending on the chord progression you want to use over it you can use other scales too. Basic chords to go under it would be, Em, D and C
