i dont know much about bass but i was thinking of getting involved.
i hope they make a lefty version.

also
hartke endorse king aswell.
how do you pronounce hartke?

Yep, Peavey is good. Most guitars and basses are made in lefties, but if they make him like a signature bass, I'm not sure.

I've never heard it pronounced any different. I am living in a town amongst rednecks who make fun of the way I say things everyday though, so I could quite be wrong.

I personally dont like my Peavey, but thats because I dont like 5 strings... I wish I knew that before I bought that damn thing...

Oh and about Hartke, I just say 'heart' because I dont know...

So, wait. You don't like 5-strings, why does that make you not like Peavey? They make plenty of four strings.

If you didn't like a Peavey 5 string because it was a 5 string, that means you don't like 5 strings...

I started out on a Peavey Milestone and have played a Zodiac. I haven't played any of their higher quality instruments, but the Milestone I have rivals the quality of many MIM Fenders.

I vouche for heart-key and by the way, Peavey's make some very nice equipment, I played on a Grind bass and it was incredible quality for the price but the thing I love most about them are their amps
#14
in their price range, Peavey is top notch equipt.
Heart-key is correct.
endorsments have very little to do with quality. they have more to do with, you'll pay me how much? just for taking a picture with it?? ok. most endorsments just provide free or lower cost stuff, for their right to say "you" use their stuff. endorsments and signatures are about marketing, not quality of the equipt.

^Hey, you didnt end your post in a smiley with shades this time...

But to back up myself, I would gladly try a 4 string Peavey. My 5er isnt making me hate them, my 5er is making me hate 5 string basses in general.
