Its what the title says. Also, try to give a good reason as to WHY you love this song. Go!

Kiss - Heaven's on Fire: This is from one of my favorite Kiss albums, Animalize. The guitar hook totally drew me in, and the shout along chorus is great fun. Can't say it impacted me as a guitarist, other then playing it is pretty fun

Van Halen - Panama: The first Van Halen song I ever heard, and its also my favorite by them. The guitar track in this is relatively simple, and it sounds really sweet. Plus, its probably my favorite song to play.

Ratt - Round n Round: How can you not love the riff in this? Not to mention the sweet second part of the solo, which is harmonized. Sure the lyrics are kinda cheesey, but the guitars in this are sweet.

Motley Cure - Kickstart My Heart: I mean c'mon, this is badass, and the Floyd trick ini the intro sounds awesome. Mick Mars at his best here.

W.A.S.P. - Wild Child: One of the forgotten bands of the 80s. These guys were great, even if they were a bit outlandish. Wild Child is one of their better songs, with a great beat and excellent guitar work by Chris Holmes.

Faster Pussycat - Bathroom Wall: Rowdy LA hair metal at its best, this song is heavily blues influenced, and thus has some great bluesy licks in it. In a way, its very similar to some stuff by Aerosmith in terms of the lyrics and the feel of the guitars.

Lynch Mob - River of Love: Okay, its 1990, but who's cares? IF this had been released 4 years earlier, it would of been hailed as a classic. Typical amazing and catchy guitar work by George Lynch here, and it has aged fairly well too.

Ozzy Osbourne - Flying High Again: Ozzy and Randy Rhoads in a nutshell. Amazing riffs, with light speed licks and an amazing solo by Randy. This is probably one of the most instantly recognizable songs out their due to its simple intro riff and loud, gruff guitar sound.

Guns N Roses - Welcome to the Jungle: A classic of sporting events everywhere, the gritty sounding guitars and the almost desperate opening guitar line showed that GnR meant business, and this song proved it in spades.

AC/DC - For Those About to Rock (We Salute You): Rock n roll at its greatest right here, with a hair raising opening riff, speaker burning solos, and memorable chorus, its pretty much what rock is about. And a classic.

So, what are your favorites from the 80s?
#2
Well I like tons of songs from the 80's (too bored to list here..)
What I miss mostly is that Rock was IN in the 80's in the same way that rap is IN at the moment. So then you could reckongnize rock elements in songs that were not rock at all but pop , balads, dance etc. The punchy BIG drums, guitar solos, lyrics with attitude.

You needn't take it any further, sir. You've proved to me that all this ultraviolence and killing is wrong, wrong, and terribly wrong. I've learned me lesson, sir. I've seen now what I've never seen before. I'm cured! Praise Bog! I'm cured!

18 and Life - Skid Row
Amazing song, with great vocals from Bach (as always), an excellent guitar solo, and a great chorus. Also, the video makes it better and makes the meaning in the song sink in.

Poison - Alice Cooper
To me, this song pretty much sums up what the 80s were all about! Just the music here SCREAMS 80s! And at the same time it's catchy as hell!

No One Like You - Scorpions
This is a pretty simple song, with a great solo and sing-a-long chorus that everyone knows.

Breaking the Chains - Dokken
I love this song, it's not nearly as cheesy as Dokken's other material, and the chorus and riffs are incredible. And, as always, George Lynch really does an amazing job here!

Black Widow - Motley Crue
Somehow this was a "lost" song that never got released on an album. Which is odd because it's easily one of the best Crue songs I've ever heard! The chorus is one of those "why didn't I think of that?" riffs that you just KNOW are classic the minute you hear them! And the guitar work in general is very creative and interesting.

There are more, but that's all I've got for now. Also, I'd like to mention Tragedy - Hanoi Rocks, and Lit Up - Buckcherry, because I like to think of them as 80s songs at heart!
I've had Alzheimer's Disease for as long as I can remember.
