Ever since I put Rage's self-titled album on my iPod, I've been on a Tom Morello trip.

Since Tom's body of work between Rage, Audioslave and The Nightwatchman is obviously too large for me to just absorb all at once, I need you to point me in the direction of some of his best work overall (ie. recommend me some songs to listen to!).

I learned that there are easy ways to waste your life away when all you have is a computer and a world full of people putting new and interesting things on their boners.

Wow, I've been here for a while.

No Shelter is IMO the best song all categories by RATM. Best intro riff, best bass-riff. Best vocals and lyrics.

Anything off of the first album is pure class.

Ghost of Tom Joad and Street Fighting Man are cool too.

They are on Renegades.

Revelations by Audioslave is good. U probably have heard Guerilla Radio and Bulls on Parade by Rage. If not, those 2 are good.

Get all of Rage's albums. Listen to them in order, over and over again. Buy all of Audioslave's disc. Do the same. Buy the Night Watchman. And if you're still wanting more, buy the charity disc's Morello's played on. Wooo.

But then he won't get No Shelter.

The most important thing is that you buy the Godzilla from 1994 soundtrack cd. After that you can do as Revalk says.

Search "Another Brick In The Wall Pt.2" by Class of '99 for a nice surprise.

OK, get BOLA next, it's a little easier to absorb than Evil Empire, simply because EE is pretty out there, but do get EE and listen to it often till it becomes good(it happens trust me) and then get Revelations(Audioslave), and if you can get single tracks, Shadow On The Sun for the most orgasmic Morello solo ever.

Basically everything he's ever done

Bulls on parade for the win. That intro riff still f*cking rocks no matter how many times I hear it. And the solo is awesome. wiki-wiki-wiki (dj noises)

Same here, he is my favorite guitarist.

Is his Nightwatchmen stuff any good? I've been deprived of any good acoustic music so the only acoustic music I know of is classic.
Indie Rock in Spanish. Good idea or not? intelligent feed back would be appreciated.

Battle of Los Angeles is probably one of my favorite albums ever...

Eh... I couldn't really get into the Nightwatchman too much... The Road I Must Travel is the only song I ever get around to listening to...

Tom morello is one of the most creative guitar players of our time. one of the apitimy's of his performing in the song revolver off evil empire. and if you really want to look, his version of little wing. with cris cornell on vocals. just youtube his name and add the word solo and you are garuenteed to find some guitar gold.
