I love my EHX pedal, but the volume drop annoys me (I'm engaging the solo boost on my amp to get an output at normal level when it's activated) and I'd like more control over my phase so I was wondering what kind of voicing this pedal has.

Does it have a "Killing in the name of" kind of swoosh (like the Small Stone with the colour switch down) or the other (like with the colour switch up).

Anyone had an experience with this pedal? How is the bypass? Any volume drops etc.

I checked on HC and there aren't any reviews.

i think that is a really cool idea for a pedal. the only thing it needs is a small single button footpedal for the bypass imo. then you wouldnt screw up your finely-tweaked speed setting.
im pretty surprised just how little information ive seen on the pedal.
ive never heard volume dropping complaints for the small stone before. battery check? if its always a full battery/adapter, see if other small stones have the same problem and switch out if you have a warranty, maybe.

I DON'T PLAY KILLING IN THE NAME WITH A FLANGER. WHERE ABOUTS IS IT?!

The Variphase is good, but its a bit useless, considering the Phase 90 has better control than the human touch and it sounds quite like a bastard wah.

The Flanger in Killing In The Name is in the first intro chords.

Tom Morello doesn't have a phaser on his board. He odes have as Ibanez flanger though. He would have to be using that.

Meh, I thought it would be more important than the intro chords. It sounds fine played without.
