Hi guys.

I'm after a vintage sounding cab to complement a GH50L.
Any suggestions would be great, because i really don't know where to start looking.
Thanks.

Maybe look at some Avatar 2x12's?

Also, good buy on the GH50L, I love mine.

This is the same set up that i'm looking to purchase for my high gain stuff/live gigging

But do you have an idea of budget for the cab? How much you're willing to spend on it and the speakers can be big factors

Lol, i haven't bought it yet, i'm just weighing up my options for the minute.
However, i'm considering it, as Dave said it would probably suit my style.
I'm just trying to use my budget wisely.

As for budget, i'm not that sure. i would like to keep the whol thing around £500 but the head alone is £400, so it's not looking so good for the minute.

People on here advised me the Framus 2 x 12. Equipped with celestion 30's and about €300 at Thomann.

sidetrack a bit,
the GH50L is a single channel amp yes? How does the footswitch work with the extra boost?

And how much of a boost are we talking about? My friend is getting this amp soon

The Framus 2x12" is £200 on Thomann.de

If you have only £100 left, ebay is probably your best bet.

Actually. I've just rethought my budget. Instead of buying a Deluxe Strat at £500ish i'm going to go for a MIM Strat instead, therefore meaning that i have a little more money to spend.
