If it's accepted? By who?

the pit have pretty different music taste...

To say we have bad music taste is just removing any doubt that you're an idiot.

Yeah Techno is pretty bad.

A bunch of trannies touching each other....A picture I don't want to look at

Everyone here likes Avenged Sevenfold and My Chemical Romance and Green Day.

I have never seen discussion about John Zorn or Mike Patton or anyone interesting...and I know about the "Favorite Artists" area. It's just annoying watching people talk about bands that are so boring.
#12
I accept that a lot of people here have bad taste in music. But, when they don't, and I like their taste in music, I tend to make fun of it anyway, just to be hateful.

I love you =] I can't say I was very fond of you when we first started talking because you trolled the hell out of my threads, but after talking to you here I've grown very attached to you.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.

Yes, there is a Bands & Artist section...if you wanna chat about Mike Patton, go there. Not in the Pit. The Pit is for everything else other than music.

And to that other lad, techno is fantastic. Where are you getting ideas about trannies?!

Though, I have to admit, I don't think anyone who likes Adam Jones has much reason to question anyone else's taste.

I don't.

Have you picked up the new Ministry album? If so is it uber awesome?
#19
You could.. it would then show up on wikiquote.org, under "flaw" and "theory".

The Last Sucker is pure brilliance. I like it, but it has that feel of HotM and RGB.

You have to admit it's true with most of these kids.

By the way, Lifeson has always been my favorite guitarist (don't tell Adam or Ler).

I figured it would be, since it's another bush bashing album. I like the past two albums. Too bad it's the last Ministry album

I'll have to make sure to see them one last time and say goodbye. There loud as hell live, around 220 decibels to be exact.
#23
Yeah, I have heard they are incredibly loud.

Another thing that bothers me: people think Alex Laiho and Herman Li "shred" in the pit.

on a lighter note i actually detest all mentioned bands, except ministry.

Because I can see that Alexi is a piece of ****.

But I won't go any farther because ****heads like you report bashing of your favorite bands like little polesmokers.

Taste would be a reflection of someones musical taste unto your own. Therefore, there is no 'good' or 'bad taste, Just different tastes.
Or so I would have me believe...

It is accepted

That there IS no such thing as terrible taste. Taste is subjective and personal.

Just throwing that out there.

I also enjoy how a dozen people are using the "musical taste is subjective" argument.

Well, that's because it is.

There is absolutely no such thing as good and bad. If you were to taste a certain type of food and say, "this is bad/horrible" etc., you would be incredibly mistaken. What you should say is "this is not to my taste."

It's the same with music. Who has a right to say what is good and bad? Absolutely no-one. It's all about taste. You are a very small man if you can't accept that people have different tastes from you.

And for the record, Gregor Samsa is the main character in Franz Kafka's short story Metamorphosis.
