I'm planning on recording at a pretty large event in my town (very crowded), but I'm afraid the noise will over take the internal microphone in my Canon ZR-80. At first I thought I could plug an external handheld mic into my camera, but it doesn't support it. Then it crossed my mind to buy a cheap digital voice recorder at Wal-Mart, and sync the video with the audio on my computer, however, apparently cheap digital voice recorders don't exist (or i cant find them).

So does anyone know of where I could get a cheap voice recorder I could plug a external mic into? Or something else that would solve my problem?
