Well, I have 2 guitars I wanna replace pickups in, a Legacy LP (which is mint as) and an Ibanez SA220FM.

Both of them are Mahogany & Maple, CTS pots, switchcraft jacks & toggles. Ibanez has a roller nut, the legacy has an earvana compensating nut.

The pickups I have are

SH-1, '59
SH-2, Jazz
SH-4, JB
SH-6, Distortion

So what combo do you think should go in what guitar?

Thats kinda what I was thinking.

Generally I use the LP when I play rhythm, and the Ibanez when I play lead. Mostly use them for rock/metal, but I play some blues & jazzy stuff too. I use a lot of cleans as well.

The Legacy has EMG's in it at the moment.. It's so disgusting :S

Screw the JB, it'd be kinda nasty in the Les Paul...Duncan Custom 5 in the bridge and a 59 or Pearly Gates in the neck.

[Edit} didn't realise you already had them...go with Denthul's suggestion then!
Actually called Mark!

I was thinking of swapping it for a custom 5. It'd cost me 20 bucks & an hour drive though :S

But how about Custom 5 & 59 in the LP, and the Distortion and Jazz in the ibanez?
