Ok heres the thing. Im tight on money and i want a epiphone les paul standard. My guitar teacher suggested i just get new pickups and some other things and put them on my current guitar to make it alot better.

i have a ibanez js40 wat should i do???

What amp do you have?

You could get something better than an Epi LP standard for cheaper; what's your price range?

Hagstrom F-20.

By far the best guitars in the price range, in my somewhat-educated opinion. Very well built, good electronics and pickups, and very comfortable to play on.
