I just bought a ibanez and the low E goes out of tune so fast, its fixed bridge and not locking nut. but the low E just wont stay, the rest of the strings stay in tune fine its just the low E. Standard tuning by the way. Any ideas?

The only thing I can think of is if it's a new string, it will take a little time before it fully stretches, plus it's the bigges string so it will take the longest.

If its a relativity new string then it might need to be stretched. Tune the string then pull it away from the fret board about an inch then retune and repeat till it stays in tune. and if that doesnt do it well then idk what to tell you.

EVH. I saw him in concert. And his brother was seriously the worst bass player I've ever seen.
