'Dark Days'

Every night I’m with you I’m flawless
Every time I see you you’re gorgeous
But the years are rolling by like thunder
Wonder where we’d be if we’d been braver

But you’re careless inside
You’d rather just hide
But I’m here always
I’d wait for you always
Should the storm clouds cause you darker days

I can breathe you in and feel electric
And I tend to fall apart brick by brick
We’re losing time now on this great divide
But you can’t tell me that I never tried

When you’re careless inside
You’d rather just hide
But I’m here always
I’d wait for you always
Should the storm clouds cause you darker days

Hey, looks pretty cool!
However :

But I’m here always
I’d wait for you always

Uhm, try to alter that one or take out one line.

Two beautiful opening lines, the personality and the closeness are stark and poignant; enough to cause a smile and to cast good light on what the rest of the song brings.

The chorus also has a good feel to it, rhythmically, although as Imaginary87 pointed out, there's some awkwardness in those two lines. Of course, this depends on how the music would accomany it; I'm sure there's an emphasis on the word "always" that you want to make clear.

A nice way to tell a tale, goo_fan; maybe it could be longer? A bridge, or extra verse to cap it all off?
