hey im a noob at guitar building but i've done woodwork a fair while ago. i just wanna know what tools are completely necessary to build a guitar.

i know i'll need a router, but what kind? and what router bits are needed?

do i need a jigsaw?

how do i make the neck?

wat kind of collets do i need for the router? and is a press drill absolutely necessary?

Collet wise, you need whatever dimension your router bits are.

Yes you do really need a drill press, try drilling the holes for the machineheads evenly and neatly, with a hand drill. your not even gonna be close. you can pick up a decent bench mounted drill press for around £100 from machinemart in the UK

book wise, get this and all your questions will be answered! -
