Ive decided to save up more money...
I play some blues, as far as the cleans go, ocasionally some modest mouse, and some skynyrd, and some joe walsh.
For mid gain stuff, think rush, zz top, vanhalen, zeppelin, GNR, foo fighters, boston, RHCP, but im sure you get the point.
For heavier stuff, think metallica, tool (not really that heavy though), megadeth, and some malmsteen/neo classical stuff.
Im going to be using mid gain stuff about 60% cleans and heavy, 20-20.
Nice cleans are desired, but the heavy channel isnt as important, however id prefer it if i didnt have to buy an OD pedal.
My budget is around 1000, and im looking to go used. Ive been told that the 212 JSX is good, but ive been told that the mid gain is the weakest of the amp, so....yeah
Thanks in advance, i guess

I hate to sound like a newb, but the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 40 watt is pretty nice, should be most of what you need with the 3-way 2-button foot pedal for "drive" and "more drive"
