I just started to work out a couple of days ago and need some good songs on my iPod to listen to so help me out a bit I used search, but didn't find anything so if there is an existing thread like this, let me know.

Try to list your favourite work out song's instead of "anything by"

My Recommendations:
In this order,
Slow Ride - Foghat
Basket Case - Green Day
Could have been a lady - April Wine
Taking Care of Business - BTO
Panama - Van Halen
The Wicker Man - Iron Maiden
Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N Roses
Black Betty - Ram Jam
Jump Around - House of Pain
Building a Religion - Cake
E-Pro - Beck
This is the New **** - Marilyn Manson
Where's Your Head at - Basement Jaxx
Bombs over Baghdad - Outkast
No One Knows - Queens of the Stonage
Extreme Ways - Moby

This is what I have so far and i'm trying to get a little bit of everything that can pump you up.

pantera, pretty much any of their songs

It's the pit; nelson mandela could make a thread urging everyone to do an effort towards reducing apartheid politics in some countries and everyone would post a photoshop of him with a melon hat.

Go jogging to DragonForce.

You'll go 5 miles in 4 minutes.

Or die. Whichever comes first.

The only advantage of home-schooling is that it gives you good reason to commit suicide.

Hit this once or twice, and you'll be twice as nice.

I'm gonna have to second the DragonForce and Power Metal recommendations.

That would be hilarious to watch.

Like the powerwalking dude on that one commercial!

Instead of:
"Why doesn't he just run?" "Cause then it wouldn't be powerwalking."

It would be...
"Why doesn't he just run?" "Cause his legs would come off."

I'm just listenign to Nemesis by Arch Enemy - it's perfect to get pumped up to. Alot of Pantera is good workout music - Five Minutes Alone, Becoming, Shattered, Cowboys From Hell, Domination, Machine Head good pumping tunes too - Davidian, Aesthetics of Hate, Creeping Death by Metallica is cool and rythmic to exercise to, Sepultura perfect too.

But TS, dude, why Green Day? Why??

yea man, who ever doesnt like pantera or think they suck doesnt like metal, end of discussion, they changed the freakin world n made history, so don't be sayin they suck, have respect, same goes for machine head n lamb of god cuz their good too

I'm actually going to try Dragonforce...

On the other hand, I usually listen to whatever's on at my school gym, so depending on the teacher it could be from U2 to Rihanna or even just some bass heavy hardcore!

As I Am - Dream Theater

A Change of Seasons - Dream Theater(what I do is just set the speed or like a treadmill or bike so its nder your capabilities, but you can only stop when the song ends, i.e, in 23 mins. time)

Slipknot songs are allways good, as well as Slayer, Metallica's faster songs (Damage, Inc., Dyer's Eve, Whiplash etc.) Strapping Young Lad, Lamb of God, Pantera, Symphony X.
