Despite many threads, none have ever gotten replies, let alone help.

We're getting on a label soon, and I'm wondering about copyrighting....
Will things be instantly copyrighted then, or is that something seperate?

Another question, how much need I pay in royalties for an offical cover?

This has been answered. A thousand times. Your work is already copyrighted the moment it is created and fixed into a tangible median. However, in order to file a lawsuit against somebody for copyright infringement, you must register your copyright with the U.S. Copyright Office. Most labels prefer this be done before they even sign you.

As for royalties, I believe it's a percentage, and it's agreed upon by both parties. Though I could be way off.
