Hey, i'm new to the site but certainly not new to the guitar. Anyway, I need to upgrade from a peavey envoy 110 to something else. I'm searching for something that has great tone and can work well with an overdrive/distortion pedal. Any suggestions? Thanks.

well, you'd be surprised, budget/style will influence the advice we give you

EDIT: The amps that could be suggested range in price from £100 - £3000

and we NEED to know a style of music you play, and preferably what other gear you have

Ok. Let's see. 0-700$ Like i said, i like tone. Something i could use for a gig. I really want a orange amp, alot of my friends have them. But i'm a long way from that. So, yeah.

classic 30
palomnino V32
jcm800 combo
peavey windsor + good 2x12 cab
5150 combo

all used of course (better back for your money!!!).

maybe a 72' tele or a 72' tele thinline (total secks).

well, again, the amp selection, although versatile, could be cut down if the TS was actually helpful and told us what style he plays. For instance, the windsor is a poor choice if he plays clean a lot of the time

edit: he said, my bad

JCM800 combo, I would suggest laney, but you yanks get ripped off on them
