as i said before...

id make a living crossbones guitar. sell it through my own company, with inlays made out of the Sorcerers Stone. it wouldn't have pickups because if you heard it your mind would explode and 100 strings. and it would probably be made out of some type of wood from a tree that only grows in Jesus' backyard

She 'd be called the Dean Sawblade

Shape:Black Superstrat style with Razorback-ish jagged edges, thin like the Ibanez S series.
Pickups: HSH with a set of Duncan Blackouts and a EMG SA in the center
Wood Type: Mahogany
Frets: 24
Company: Dean, because of the jagged edges
Inlays: No inlays, just the rosewood fretboard
Strings: 6
Pickguard: Chrome with the jagged edges

Although I agree that coming into a metal thread and delivering that kind of blanket opinion was unneccessary, I also think that the genre of music you play has nothing to do with how "sissy" you are. It's much more about how you play it.

Now can we get back on topic?

Body shape: Les Paul, with a Kramer neck profile (1.65" at nut, 2.06" at 12th fret).

Pickups: covered (chrome cover) Gibson Burstbucker 3 in the neck, uncovered (black) Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro in the middle, uncovered (black) Gibson Burstbucker 3 in the bridge.

Wood type: mahogany body, flame maple top, maple neck, ebony fretboard.

Frets: 22, medium size

Company: does it matter? Gibson I guess, so I could get the proper LP shape.

Inlays: none.

Strings: 6.

And you didn't mention them, but they matter just as much as anything else, so:

Neck fitting: bolt-on

Bridge: Original Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo

Scale: 24.75"

Tuners: Green key, with a Hipshot Extender on the E string to automatically flick to drop-D tuning from standard when needed.

Stick in a coil split for all three pickups.

Have it finished in a blue/violet/pink 3-stage translucent burst, so the flame maple shows through the first burst stage about 60% and the second stage around 30%, with the final burst stage being solid.
No binding, no pickguard. Mounting rings would be white, hardware would be chrome.

It'd be useless for the ultra-squeally, making-your-ears-bleed, inaudible-wall-of-noise type of deathgrindheavydoommetalcorewhateverthehell it is people go on about, but it'd handle straight forward heavy metal no problem, and it'd be equally capable of rock, blues, jazz, whatever.

... damn, I've gotta call Gibson's custom shop

Heyyyyy this thread has been reported, since you guys couldn't keep you fragile egos in check .

I'm not which material would make the best metal guitar. I don't know the tonal properties of steel or copper. If you had that much cash, you might as well make it out of platinum. Plutonium would be pretty "aggressive" and "insane" though.

It'd probably be heavy

I think by "metal guitar" he is referring to seeing how many sharp and jagged edges you can fit on a guitar without causing bodily harm.
for me:
Custom gibson Les Paul
Flamed top in Antique Iced Tea finish
Jimmy page style wiring
neck made for me
kluson tunes
normal headstock
Handwound pickups to my specs
ernie ball strings

ill take the leftover money in $100 and $20 bills.

6 strings

shark fin inlays up to the 24th fret

A guitar with a Brazillian rosewood body, neck, fretboard, headstock, pickup rings, pickguard, knobs, and strap buttons. Pearl inlays and original PAFs would finish it off.
