After lurking and keeping tabs on certain gear over the past couple months I realized I wrote things down for nothing. What I need to know is which of these is the best for high gain, low tuning applications as well as good cleans and nice leads. Just quote the list and delete whichever doesn't fit the description. If there's something you feel should be in there add it in. Just trying to keep a good list of things to check next time I get the chance.

Amp: how much gain do you need?
Guitar: preferance. I'm partial to Ibanez necks.
Pedals: try them out, some like sd-1s better than tubescreamers vice versa
Parts: preferance.

Pretty high gain. As much as possible but not enough to kill cleans and sound muddy. I never tried an Ibanez before but I hear good things about the necks as well as bad. And I haven't tried many pedals out. In fact I've only tried the DF-7, Dunlop GCB-95, and a Digitech RP100.

any mesa f series. zw od or bad monkey(or both)
not an ibanez head but as long as you get a mid to high end model it should be fine.
and pickup combination should work.
