So My church's Fender Hot Rod Deluxe has been acting real wierd lately. It's making a hell of a lot more noise than it should, and it is picking radio waves left and right. Could it be that the tubes are in need of change? this amp has been in use for about 7 months, but its on for about 4.5 hours on sundays, and 2 hours on wednesdays, not to mention rehearsals... Hmm. Now That I type it out in front of me, It makes a lot of sense that it would be the tubes. Does anyone think otherwise?

Could very well possibly be the tubes, thats alot of hours logged in it.

It sounds more like a power supply or grounding problem. Anything unusual going on with the local electric company or power lines? Try to describe the noise other than the radio signals. Also have you tried it with other guitars?
It could be a microphonic tube.

I know we do have some radio towers around, but would they explain the noise as well?

It is extremely noisy through every guitar I've played through it except a hollowbody.

have the tubes replaced and the amp re-biased
