So I was just messing around today and found out I could plug my keyboard into my amp. I was like cool eh. But then I realized I have a sustain pedal for my keyboard that has an amp sized jack on it and wondered if it could work with my guitar somehow. Is that possible? And yes i'm being cheap.

No because all the sustain pedal is doing is sending a MIDI? signal to your keyboard to tell it to sustain any notes played. It doesn't actually send any musical data, at least i don't think it could. But you could try it anyway

i say both. you always have the option to not use the pedal at all but it will still be there like that obsessed chick you took to homecoming and never called again, sitting there waiting for your call. so yea both

i would try it just to see how your amp will decode midi. i think midi is (i might be wrong) transferred through frequency. meaning it could be really freaking cool. try it and tell me.
