Well, ive been playing guitar for about 2 1/2 years, and i was itnerested in possibly building my own guitar, rather than searching through brand name guitars looking for something that will suit. So i was wondering, how hard will it be to build a guitar with this basic Layout

Ibanez Super-strat kinda body
Double Locking Trem
24 Fret Neck(Can it be set?)
And how do i make inlays
HSH Pup configuration
Some random paint job, either swirl or something i spray on

Along those lines, Difficulty and costs?

Thanks

sell a 24 fret neck for a neck-through. I love my carvin's neck. You can get it with an unshaped headstock if you want a custom shape, too. Dot inlays on it though.

Just an idea.

Wouldnt that require me to use a Carvin Body as well? i was hoping to just buy a body and then put a neck on it, but if thats a better option, does Carvin offer a body like one of those pointy-strat ones Ibanez has? Or actually, i might go for something like a Exlorer-ish Body Stlye, im still in the plannig stages now.
