I really want to get into some new bands so I would be thrilled if u could recommend some good ones.
At the moment im into heaps of different stuff like bloc party, midnight juggernauts, expatriate, horsell common, muse, coheed & cambria, and then most metal.
If there was one band that incorporated all those sounds i would be blown away.
Thx

metal stuff eh? i am most impressed by these two bands.

Strapping young Lad - old news, been around for awhile, but devin townsend just kicks ass

Gojira - pretty new i think, just go into them awhile ago. you can listen to their full album right on their website for free. google it up

Pooping is well good though, to be fair.

If you can get you're hands on some Pantera, EARLY Pantera from the 80's you'll be good.
I recommend either "Metal Magic" or "I Am The Night" Both really good albums.
Super-serial list of equipment: guitar, amp, some picks, and a cable.

I know i can be an A55hole, however i try to mean well most of the time..

Metal-

Unearth - I f*cking love these guys. Great vocalist imo.

Behemoth - Never heard a group quite like these. The constant ear rape-age is quite pleasing.

The Black Dahlia - One of those background-metal bands to me. They don't really stick out but they don't sound bad either.

Korpiklaani - One of my all time favorites. Simple as that.

Job for a Cowboy - Kickass vocals imho.

Great list Rutch. On re-reading this one I'd have to say Solid State means not liquid or gas.

I figured it out.

Horsell Common are good. If you like them, you may like Bodyjar. They are more punk rock but Horsell Common remind me of Bodyjar for some reason.

You probably have heard of Bodyjar. Maybe not. Funny video clip about sperm. Everyone should check it out.

Minus The Bear kick ass too, but on a very slightly lesser scale!

Botch on the otherhand, need to import colons to meet demand!
