ive been messing around with my previously downtuned (C Standard, Drop B) riffs, in standard and Drop D. Im still trying to decide whether i like it. So if you know of any deathcore, deathmetal, or heavier metalcore bands that use it list em here. And please dont list bands like Lamb of God.

Behemoth does not use 7 strings. I've been 2 feet from Nergal playing at 3 differant shows. Definately 6 strings.

Please refrain from posting in this thread as you obviously have no clue what you are talking about.

So far none of the bands posted are played in any of the requested tunings.

Underoath tunes in Drop D from The Changing of Times on.

The Dilligner Escape Plan plays in E standard.

Most Hardcore bands play in standard.

Other than that you'll probably be out of luck.

They're not talking about hardcore punk, they're talking about "hardcore." It has little in common with its roots in the '80s.

whoever said bodom is in drop C is partially right

I think their newest is drop C and before that it is D standard or E standard.

Like he said earlier, looks like you need to downtune if you want to play death metal type stuff
