I play in a band for my church on sundays and we have recently switched over to a personal monitor system which eliminates all the stage volume... except for me. I don't have a line out on my Peavey Valveking amp, and honestly I dont want one. I am looking for cheap methods of isolating it some more because as it is, they wont even let me run the amp at a volume level of 1.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

or, invest in a wireless system and put the amp in a back room, and mic it.
