How many octaves are on a guitar fretboard, and what are the cutoffs. I mean I know on the E|0 & 12 are two different octaves, but what octave does A|7 fit under?

Go to your staff paper and re-write this song a half step down so on the paper it'll be like you have a "C" just move it down to a "B#"

Know your theory, then play like you don't.

Ok so what octave does the 7 on the a string fall under? The same as a 12 on E?
