Hey everyone i play bass but im getting ready to sell my old electric and i really want to impress the guy.I was wondering how to tune a humbucker?My guitar sounds all twangy and wrong arfer i messed with the screws on the humbucker.any help is appreciated.

you tune a humbucker with your ear

EDIT:

you probably have the pickups too close to the strings which is bad (something to do with the magnets reacting badly or something)

It's an effective way of tweaking your pickups.

Threadstarter, what kind of tone are you looking for? If you want warmer tone, lower the higher strings' pole pieces and raise the middle ones.
