"you shouldn't lie about something you love..."

what do you think of that?

I think that's true. If you really are passionate about something/someone, there's no need to hide that. I would be ashamed of myself if I blatantly lied about something or someone I cared for.

i think it's a pretty accurate description of what everyone should do. if you truly "love" something, you shouldn't be afraid of what others might think. big F.U. to anyone who says my bands, my guitar, my amp (spider II lol), or my friends are not to there standards, and i wouldn't have it any other way

Well, unless you love child porn, or killing people, or something of that effect. That you might want to keep private.

But besides that, yeah, love and honesty should go hand in hand.

If it's something blatantly horrible by today's standards in the area in which you live, then it's not something you should be very active in expressing.

But otherwise, be honest about it, it's the best thing. Not always the easiest, but you know that you're solid and committed to it if you're willing to be totally honest about it.
Oh no he just divided by zero again...*gets sucked into vortex*
