My iPod won't eject....
it says the ipod can't be ejected because it contains files that are in use in another application? (I use a Mac comp btw) i have no idea what that would be...

So, seeing as the apple website can't help, I turn to the pit. which is honestly a first.

Can you help me?

If you can't get to say it's safe to unplug it, reset it by pressing the menu and center buttons at the same time.

Try what I said, if when it connects again you're again unable to unplug it, reset it one more time and unplug it before the ipod connects. Hope that made sense.

actually, when i try to put it where the trash can usually is, it says "The disk is in use and could not be ejected. try quitting applications and try again." ?

shutting down you computer should force the ipod to disconnect. at least it does on a pc. then you'll be free to unplug it.
