Id like to be able to transfer between all positions in the Pentatonic Blues scale (my primary scale) so im not soloing for a whole song in one place on the fretboard making one sound. I dedicate part of my daily practicing to working on memorizing the scale positions flawlessly, because i know this is essential to being able to transfer between them. I have not however, been using a metronome, and i know i should. are there any exercises or tips anyone can give me? No need to say just practice because i do that non stop. Thanks a lot.

Dude, don't memorise the boxes. Learn about the intervals and notes that the scale is built out of.
