Also tell me what you think if the production, ive just set up my own studio and am still learning the ropes, so any opinions would be greatly appreciated...

The tone was a bit too raunchy IMO for what this song needed. I was have toned down the gain a little bit. Also, there was a lack of dynamics, which ADM uses very well. Very few glitches in the playing, however, I felt it could be made a little more interesting than. It seemed some passages were repeated too many times.

Overall, good though. I just thought I'd give my opinions on how to make the song a little better. Good luck with the audition. Hope things go well.

Dig the feel.... Reminds me alot of a blend of Down, Metallica and Iron Maiden for some reason.... Rhythm Guitar tone a little bassy for my liking, sweet solo... Like the harmony.. Cant really hear much bass guitar in the mix though...

Great man. I think it got kinda repetitive at times, but you're a really great guitarist. Like other people were saying though you can barely hear the rhythm.

Dreamscape has some great ideas... I like the two rhythms... You are the singer aswell yes??? I think you need to work on your pitch, at the end of some phrases you seem to drift out... Maybe add some chorus to your guitar to sweeten it up a bit too... Very cool though

Personally, I liked your tone. Very thick... which I don't always like. However, you pulled it off. As for the song:

Sometimes it didn't flow 100% smoothly. Like, I couldn't really tell where it was heading and some phrases ended on odd notes. Towards the end, though, I didn't have a problem with the structure or flow... sounded very nice. Like the others have said, you have some sick chops. Keep up the good work!

Hey, great playing! You definitely are great. The song doesn't really seem to have a lot of direction, but that's not always a bad thing. Good luck on your audition. I'm sure you'll do great. :-)

Your other song was pretty cool too, although not my style.

Lead guitar is way above the rythm in the mix, I'd say turn the rythm tracks up cause the guitar is where it needs to be.

I think you'll have a good audition.

Thanx man, I wasnt sure how to go about tone for this, but thanx for your comments!!
Haha its funny you mention about the phrases ending on wrong notes, for some reason I actually do that on purpose at times, I dunno its just something i picked up, I think the problem is I do it too often...

I just checked out pandora, love the feel, the recording quality isnt great though unfortunatly though, how did you record it???
I dig the feel of the instrumental, but im sorry to say I dislike the guitar tone... Needs more mids i think.... Drum sounds a bit nasty too....

All in all some rad ideas though, and good playing

Thanx my friend!!

I had a listen too the hard rock one and the Allman brothers cover, great work... In the hardrock one I think your rhythm needs a little work perhaps, I think you need a band, that would help your playing soo much, some great work and ideas tho, lkeep it up!
