Well, i am about to start on my very first customised guitar. Based soully on this starter Encore model which i got extremely cheap at £12.50
If anyone knows the model name it would be appreciated!

One humbucker pickup
Tremolo style bridge
Volume + Tone knob

Simple enough right? Well here is my small plan so far...
1) Remove frets from 12 onwards for fretless solos (i have done this before on an acoustic)
2) Change the pickup. To possibly an EMG, just anything better than the current one.

Absolutely ANY suggestions are welcome! Design wise or else.
Will post my progress as i continue.

i don't know the model, but i have the exact same guitar. I got ripped off the and spent £30 on mine.

I though about changing the pickup in mine a little while ago, but IMO it seems a bit of a waste of money to buy an EMG for a cheap encore.

Exactly what I was thinking, either plywood, or pine. Either way, the wood will be terrible.

yeah im guessing thats why the cheap price..
maybe an EMG is too good for this guitar. I'll still try to find something abit better though

Save this guitar for a show and then give it to some kid afterwards.
