I'm interested in learning more songs like that, some good jam songs for when you're playing with just one guitar or all by yourself. Ones where you can improvise easily on the whole song. Got inspired by playing too much Hey Joe.

Problem is, don't know much of those? Anyone got any suggestions? Please don't say just "Hendrix" name a song or two too please.

Pretty much anything by Van Halen, Extreme, and Ozzy Osbourne (with either Randy or Jackie)

Songs:

"Crazy Train"

"The Trooper" (everythings easy... accept the solo)

"It's a monster" (by extreme)

"Ain't talkin' about love"

"Bark at the moon" (haha good luck though)

Most things by RHCP. Under the Bridge, Soul to Squeeze, I Could Have Lied, Can't Stop, Californication, Snow, I Could Die for You, and loads more that just don't come to mind.

Hendrix - Voodoo Child, Purple Haze.
Ozzy - Bark at the Moon (It's not that hard apart from the solo's).
Guns n Roses - Sweet Child.
The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun, Whilst My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Stuff like that man, SRV too.

Pretty much any SRV songs. Texas Flood, Pride and Joy, I'd say the the most noteable. Also for 1 guitar stuff some Satch songs or Vai are usually ok.
