hey guys i have broken my sound cable for my guitar but i have a cable that connects my speakers to the computer and two little input to big output adapters would that work or is it likely to damage the cable?

Should work, I've done it before.

Unless you're John Petrucci, I'm pretty sure the output of the pickups isn't high enough to melt wire...
Dear God, do you actually answer prayers?

Yes, but only in a way indistinguishable from random luck or the result of your own efforts.

It shouldn't damage the cables, but there are two different types of cables, balanced and unbalanced (or stereo and mono). A balanced cable has 2 black rings around the jack to split the signal into two different signals. A unbalanced cable has 1 ring. I'm almost positive they won't work together. A normal guitar cable is unbalanced. Goodluck.
